A ski holiday with your family can be a wonderful thing. It’s not just about the time you spend together on the slopes but the atmosphere and the things you do when it comes to eating and entertainment. Whilst many resorts welcome families, some are set up better than others to keep both little ones and adults happy. We’ve listed our top six Club Med family ski resorts.

Club Med Les Arcs is ideal for families. Everyone will love the panoramic views, but the natural surroundings and design of the resort make it a real stand out. Kids will revel in the enchanted forest decor including fun animal statues that can be found around every corner.

On top of this, families are well catered for with Baby Club Med and Petit Club Med providing entertainment to the children while you enjoy the skiing. But the slopes are for all, and there are plenty of ski lessons aimed at kids plus lots of shared activities such as husky sledding, tobogganing and bowling.

The chalets form a pretty hamlet in a quiet area that has an authentic Alpinec culture. This relaxed vibe means it’s ideal for parents who worry about babies and toddlers getting upset by the hustle and bustle of a mega resort.

The ski-in ski-out access means it’s simple to get everyone on the slopes as soon as possible. After an enjoyable day on the magnificent pistes, there’s time to indulge in the luxurious Hammam spa, leaving the kids to enjoy activities such as wall climbing or DJing. You can also get the young ones to cook for you with our ‘Big Snack’ concept. Who fancies a pancake party?

Although it has a reputation as a party resort, Tignes gets a five out of five star rating from skiresort.info for its family friendliness. Most notable are the large children's areas and free practice lifts with special beginner slopes in all of the large villages. There’s even a village devoted entirely for the kids.

The fantastic apres ski in the resort means that the adults can enjoy life to the full once the junior members are tucked up in bed. That’s if you’re not too tired from a day of husky rides, snow-tubing and ice-diving. Even if you’re on holiday with toddlers you’ll be able to gently introduce them to the joys of winter sports with our professionally trained G.O.s teaching them all the basics in this ideal snowy playground.
