Choose your destination carefully
It is important to be aware of the travel requirements each country may have so that you can pick the one that is right for you. You may want to avoid quarantining or having to provide a negative Covid-19 test therefore you should regularly check our destinations page to see which countries fit your criteria.

Do you have medical insurance?
All departures up until December 2022 are covered by our complementary Covid-19 medical cover, this includes the costs of hospitalization and the cost of stay of a companion.

Be aware of what you can use abroad
Very often credit cards or your phone services have extra charges if you were to use them abroad, therefore it is worth discussing these with your providers so that you can avoid unnecessary costs. Although you will not need any money within the resort, it may be useful to have in case you decide to explore the local towns.

Preparing for your departure

Mandatory Health Documents Required At Our Resorts
We have introduced a health protocol so that we can welcome you safely with Club Med. To stay in one of our resorts (except for our resorts in France and the French West Indies), we will ask you to provide the result of a negative RT-PCR (nasopharyngeal or saliva) or antigen Covid-19 test, done within 72 hours before your arrival, unless vaccinated. In this case, a record of a complete vaccination (In English or French) against Covid-19* will be also accepted. *one or two shots depending on the number of doses required for the vaccine in question.

In the absence of these documents, access to the Resort will be denied to said person as well as the accompanying guardian if the person is a minor or any accompanying minors if the person is an adult.

This protocol is in addition to the documents and formalities required by the destination country.

The week before travelling
Most destinations require a negative PCR test so it is important to check whether testing is available at the airport you are travelling to and whether this is an acceptable alternative to having a test done before you travel. If you are able/required to, ensure you get a Covid-19 test done within the correct time restrictions for your destination; most countries ask for no longer than 72 hours before departure.

24 hours before travelling
If your holiday destination requires you to fill out a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) or any similar documents, such as a health declaration form or sworn statement, it is best to complete this at least one day before departure just in case you have any problems or issues.

Remember to bring:

  • Passport

  • Hand sanitiser (under 100ml)
  • Negative Covid-19 test results (if required)
