Terms & Conditions as of 14/11/2023 for the Club Med referral program.
Offer valid on all stays, on all dates and can be combined with all other current offers*.
For the purposes hereof, "Referred Friend" is defined as any individual of legal age who has not stayed at Club Med in the last 6 years. "Sponsor/Referrer" is defined as any individual of legal age who has stayed at Club Med® within the last 6 years. The "Referrer" may grant a "Refer a Friend" discount on the Referred Friend's first reservation, in exchange for the benefits defined below. The "Refer a Friend" discount is valid only if the Sponsor and the Referred Friend follow the "Refer a Friend" technical procedure detailed on the Club Med® website.
The "Refer a Friend" discount of CHF 200.- can only be used by the Referred Friend for his/her first reservation. The code is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of the referral request by the Sponsor. To be eligible, the Sponsor and the Referred Friend must both be residents of the same country, which must be eligible for the sponsorship program, and the reservation must be made in the country of residence. The sponsorship request must be made by the Sponsor, online, on his/her Club Med customer account.
To be eligible for the "Refer a Friend" offer, the Referred Friend must be a "new customer" of Club Med® (i.e. without a Club Med® membership number or with a membership number but who has not stayed at Club Med® in the last 6 years). If one of the members of the sponsored household has stayed at Club Med in the last 6 years, the request will be automatically refused by Club Med®. The Referred Friend must make the reservation in his or her own name, using the email address, surname and first name communicated by the Sponsor at the time of the sponsorship request, using the code received by email.
Upon finalization of the reservation by the Sponsoree via payment of the deposit or balance, depending on the dates of reservation and stay, the Sponsor will be eligible for a "Sponsorship" discount. The "Refer a Friend" discount of CHF 200 will be available 45 days before the actual departure of the Referred Friend, and will be valid for a period of 12 months from that date. The Sponsor will be informed by email. The email will only be sent if the Sponsor/Referrer has agreed to receive emails from Club Med on a valid email address. The Referred Friend must make the reservation in his/her own name with the customer account and/or GM number from which he/she received the referral. If the Referred Friend cancels his/her stay, the Sponsor/Referrer will not be entitled to his/her discount.
Offer valid for the purchase of an all-inclusive stay in a Resort or Tour "Circuit Découverte" (from 11/03/2024), with a minimum stay of 7 nights. Cannot be combined with other online advantage codes. Several sponsorship discounts may be applied to the same reservation (in agency or with the call center only) but only one discount may be applied per customer number. Referral discounts can be combined with other Club Med® offers*, provided that the total discount does not exceed 40% of the total price of the reservation. The referral code can be used:
§ For stays in Resorts: in Club Med® agencies, Club Med®-approved agencies, by telephone with the Club Med® Contact Center, or on the Club Med® website.
§ For "Circuits Découverte" Discovery Tours: in Club Med® agencies, Club Med®-approved agencies, by telephone with the Club Med® Contact Center, or on the Club Med® website.
Offer subject to availability and to Club Med sales conditions in force at the time of booking, available on the Club Med website. Offer not retroactive. Offer cannot be applied to stays already booked or paid for in full. Club Med® reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The Referred Friend and the Sponsor must not live under the same roof or be married. Club Med reserves the right to refuse the advantages of this program to anyone, at its discretion, if a transaction is suspected to be fraudulent, suspicious or in violation of the terms and conditions of the Offer.
The Sponsor declares that he has the Referred Friend's prior consent to communicate his first name, last name and personal email address. Without this information, the sponsorship link cannot be created. The Sponsor consents to the use of his/her first and last name by the Referred Friend when making his/her reservation.
2'500 Great Members points (loyalty program) are automatically credited to the Sponsor/Referrer's account 3 days after the Referrer's return. If the Referred Friend cancels his/her stay, the Sponsor/Referrer will not be entitled to the 2'500 Great Members points. Maximum of 10 Referrals per Sponsor per year.
